How to enable local RTSP on Verkada (Preferred)

RTSP is the preferred method for integrating Verkada cameras as it utilizes our FususCORE to its fullest potential

Follow the Support Article provided by Verkada for enabling RTSP either on individual cameras or in bulk.

1. Open your web browser and visit command.verkada.com.
2. Log in with your Verkada account credentials.
3. Navigate to the "Camera List" or "Home" page.
4. Find and click on the camera that you want to enable RTSP for.
5. Go to the "Settings" tab, and then click on the "Device" section.
6. Look for the "Enable RTSP" option and toggle the switch to enable it.
7. You will see a default username (admin) and a field to enter a password. Type in a strong
password for the RTSP stream.
8. After setting up the password, the system will generate an RTSP URL in the Standard Resolution format. It should look like this example:
rtsp://admin[PASSWORD]@7d7e8d8d74ef4ae614f5961b9e612729.49.camera.verkada-lan.com:8554/standard

9. Export the camera list and send it to the helpdesk@fusus.com (Go to the Devices list, filter the list according to your preferences, and select the "Download this list as a CSV file" in the upper right-hand corner of the Command interface)
